DFP2 not working

Just bought and installed DFP2 into an Eval version of DW CS4, i've created a small database, form etc with file field.

When i chose Insert >WebAssist >DFP I have no choice of options except the 'progress bar'

FYI on the same machine i also run DW4 but with DFP 1 installed if this makes any difference.

can anyone shed any light please

Can you access the DFP functionality from the Server Behaviors window, or is it missing there too?

What is your server language? The newest version is PHP only.

WebAssist will be concentrating on PHP only moving forward. PHP is very easy to learn and has a lot of advantages over ASP. If you are going to continue using new versions of WebAssist extensions, you will have to make the move to PHP.

Ok i got a quite good knowledge of PHP and .NET (for Desktop applications not Internet).

ASP language is being deprecated. If you want to use ASP use ASP.NET and buy Microsofts Expression Web 2 which is amazing.

Both languages can do basically everything. Its a matter of what you are used too and where you find more support to fix what you need.

I agree with Webassists approach to focus on PHP as Microsoft has her own development tool available in a good price and there is no need to support ASP as its deprecated officialy. If you check most published webpages are either .php or .aspx (asp.NET)

No offence, ditch that old ASP to the garbage cun :)
