Can't change width of menu tabs

Can't change width of menu tabs

Whenever I change the width of a vertical menu a gap appears between the levels. So when I move the cursor to click onto the next level the tab immediately disapears. I set up a menu using the default sizes and everything works fine but if I change the width of the tabs they become seperated on screen and will not work. I have added this link for a better understanding of the problem. test.html The 2 menus are exactly the same but in the second I have reduced the width to 80px from 100px. Any ideas?

are you changing the width in the CSS Menu Writer Wizard, or directly in the CSS.

This will happen if you change the width directly in the CSS, the left property for the sub menus needs to recalculated if the width changes. The Menu Writer Wizard wil perform this recalculation for you if you edit the width there.

If you edit the width manually, you will need to also edit the left property for the sub menus.
