change value button

hi,

I have in my db a clients table which holds a conversion column with default value "0"

i need to create a button on details page which when click changes this from 0 to 1 where 1 = a sale.

could you please advise how i would do this?

many thanks

You can use the DataAssist Update Server Behavior to do this, and set the trigger to use the button clicked. You will need to set a hidden field to store the your client id, because you will use that to know which record to update.

No, so after you set the value of the hidden field to be your primary key column, the key column needs to be the key column of your table (the ID), which should be the unique column, and set the value to the hidden input field.

and on the next step you would select the conversion column and set the value to 1.
