Name/Desc is sent to oderdetails table but what if you need more data to be sent
Can someone tell me if it is possible to use the store summary and details behaviour to add data from column/s in your items table. I have a spare column in the orderdetails table i can use to test this. I had a go last night. I did an items recordset on the confirm.php page, clicked on the store order details behaviour then selected my item. There's obviously a bit more to it than this as when i tested it by doing an order it just shows the very first item from the items table irrespective of what has been ordered. As a test i selected the thumb1 column from the items recordset i created, i did a number of different orders but the order history details page had the same image reference on every row C001.jpg. They should have all been different, they need to match what has actually been ordered.
I was advised that instead of the above, i could do a join statement on the history details page, if this is an easier way to do it, great, but when i tried this i had the same problem as above. The order history details page shows the same image ref (C001.jpg) on every row regardless as to what has actually been ordered. pls help me to accomplish one of the above solutions.
My goal is to have all the details stored in the items table accessible to the customer in the order history pages but to also have a page containing all the item details for there order so i can send it to the customer using universal email. Ideally, a search on orderID would bring up a product catalogue style page with an image and a list of 7 characteristics from the items table below it. I would then send this after payment. It is important these details are not seen in the cart. (only 'name and description' from the items table should be seen in the cart)
Any help with this would as usual be v.appreciated.
