Templates

When using the dataassist wizard, I indicate that I would like to utilize one of my own templates. When I select my template and click the "next" button, the wizard freezes and will not display or load my template. As a result, I am forced to shut down my web editor (currently Dreamweaver CS4). When I attempt to use my template again, I am forced to have to repeat the process of closing Dreamweaver. I need assistance in correcting this problem so I can move forward in settiny up my database using my own template. Thank you.

this indicates that there is an issue with the format of the template. Please send a copy of the template so Ican take a look and try to find the cause.

The forum will not allow me to upload or attach the file format. The format is a .dwt file, through Dreamweaver. Is there another way to get this file to you?

The best thing to do is zip the file and upload that.

it appears the issue is with the iFrame you have in the template, I can only get the review to work correctly if I remove the iFrame.

Thank you for your response. The iFrame appears to contain my sidebar's content. There has to be a method or way to retain my sidebar without removing it all together. Is there a way?

I removed the iFrame and there was no change from my end. DataAssist failed to display a preview of the template. This is getting a bit frustrating. I am wasting time and money with my WebAssist subscription by dealing with this issue.

neilo

Using the template provided in the zip above, I had no problem running the DataAssist wizard steps 1-10 with a fully working review at each stage.
