Universal Email 4 Build 004 Available for WCE

A zip file will be emailed to you today, containing Universal Email 004 (Beta).The beta build is only available to the WCE group so please do not report bugs or feedback in the regular support forums; use this forum to provide us input or ask questions.

The serial number for this group is Y9sy2-RubYR-0y3Yw-z1W4P. There are a limited amount of activations so please do not install on more than 2 machines. This serial number will work until it goes live in March. Post here, if for any reason, it doesn't work before then.

We look forward to your feedback!

Hi Ann,

For some reason, I never got the beta... I checked spam as well as I know sometimes the previous emails were diverted. If you could send to me again when you get a chance (maybe try my aol address - sojoweb(at)aol.com - I wonder if there is a size issue with my other email).

Best regards,

Brian

That's too bad. I was looking forward to some feedback this morning.

We'll make sure to get it out in the next hour or so, sorry for the confusion.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Hi Everyone,

You should have received an email containing the zip file for Universal Email 004 Beta. Let me know if you haven’t received it for any reason. I was hoping to send the email out yesterday but I was waiting on some additional information. Your input and feedback are greatly appreciated!!!

Initial Beta Test

I found a case sensitive issue...

php:
<?php require_once("webassist/email/mail_php.php"); ?>
<?php
require_once("webassist/email/mailformatting_php.php"); ?>

The default directory created is....

WebAssist

Needs to be...

php:
<?php require_once("WebAssist/Email/mail_php.php"); ?>
<?php
require_once("WebAssist/Email/mailformatting_php.php"); ?>

Found this too...

php:
session_commit();
      wa_sleep($WaitTime);
      include("WebAssist/Email/waue_index_1.php");
      $endtime = microtime_float();

Hey Tom,

First off the starting line I see. Thanks for making us aware of the issue. It has been logged, and we're going through and making sure all includes have the correct path. This should be updated in the next build.

WOW! This is really nifty. I really like it. I know I've added much of the functionality to the WishList over the past 3yrs.

I've successfully used it in full Dynamic mode. The log table was created for me without any issue. This feature is outstanding.

I found that in my Gmail and in my Yahoo messages that the following code created a slight presentation issue...

html:
<body style="background-color: #EEE;">
<div id="background" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; background-color: #EEE; padding: 20px; text-align: center; color: #B6B6B6; font-size: x-small; width:100%">

I changed: width:100% to be 90% and the background on both CENTER and BLOCK fit better in both Gmail and Yahoo web clients.

Kudos! I like UE 4.0
