CSS Sculptor crashes after activation in DW8

Hi,

I can't get on with DW CS4 so have uninstalled my WebAssist extensions and reinstalled for DW8. Surveyor and the others activate and work just fine. But CSS Sculptor and CSS (Menu Writer) crash. The Activation code is accepted and the confirmation panel is shown. The load bar appears and gets about half way. That's it.

All WA items are fully uninstalled from the DW CS4 Extension Manager. I've installed, discovered the crash, then removed (not disabled), then reinstalled the two extensions giving problems in DW8.

BTW DW8 is not creating a winfile .dat after the crash. and Yes I did delete the file after each installation.

Any thoughts?

Using Menu Writer 203 and Sculptor 205

Will an earlier version work in DW8?

Hi Jason,

Uninstalling from the DW8 Extension Manager and I notice that v2.05 descriptive / how to para includes the statement that CSS Sculptor works in CS4, CS3 and Dreamweaver 8!

Would v2.01 or 2.03 work in DW8?

That is a typo in the extension, Menu Writer 2 has never been supported in DW8.
