How to prevent Duplicates
I have created an insert page using the data assist wizard..It has a dropdown menu which lists categories and a text box that allows the user to add a sub-category to the category in the dropdown menu. I need to allow the user to add the same
sub-category to multiple categories..i.e. both the categories Dog and Cat could contain the sub-category "LEASHS" however entering "LEASHS" twice in the Dog or Cat category is not allowed.
I know how to prevent a user from entering a duplicate, by using the standard insert
record and check username server behaviour but not sure how to do it in the above case.
