Multi-form process; how to pass validated data?

I've, at last, managed to sort out an issue with binding validated fields to a form fields so that I can display messages (show if) if there are errors.

How do I get my validated fields / data to pass through to the next form in the process? The POST method doesn't seem to work after validation has taken place (and I even had to hand code the Header location for progressing on to next if all of the form fields were valid - the old VT code snippet :
<?php if ($_SERVER["REQUEST_METHOD"] == "POST") {
$url = "test_serverside_success.php";
Header("Location: $url");
}
?>

to reproduce the usual form action)
