Well you certainly know more about these things than I do.
And I found it strange as well.
Network Solutions is the host and I'm on a unix server. The tech there, also knowing way more about these things than I do, gave a convincing argument as to why though I can't quote his reasons.
I've been with them for a long time and am reluctant to move but will if you think it's the best thing to do.
