Multiple folders using multipe extensions

Probably answered somewhere just can’t find it.
I just want to make sure I understand this going forward.

I hope to create several site definitions in Dreamweaver. Each one will host different forms. Which may include dataassist, security assist, webassist etc.

Then when things are working I want to upload each site folder to one live site. In other words one root folder containing multiple site folders as described above and below.

Example below
public_html/formfolder1/Connections
public_html/formfolder1/webassist
public_html/formfolder1/WA_SecurityAssist
public_html/formfolder1/WA_DataAssist
public_html/formfolder1/ index.php
public_html/formfolder1/ contactform.php
And so on
public_html/formfolder2/Connections
public_html/formfolder2/webassist
public_html/formfolder2/WA_SecurityAssist
public_html/formfolder2/WA_DataAssist
public_html/formfolder2/ index.php
public_html/formfolder2/ contactform.php

public_html/formfolder3/Connections
public_html/formfolder3/webassist
public_html/formfolder3/WA_SecurityAssist
public_html/formfolder3/WA_DataAssist
public_html/formfolder3/ index.php
public_html/formfolder3/ contactform.php

Does seem to work, however does create multiple copies of folders for webassist etc.

The advantage I see is I can port to any server or subfolder and they work.

Is this the way I should continue or am I out to lunch here? I have read in different places that dataassist is suppose to be in the root of the site....but I assume this means not buried in the subfolder such as this example:

public_html/formfolder1/Subfolder/WA_DataAssist
public_html/formfolder1/webassist
public_html/formfolder1/ index.php
public_html/formfolder1/ contactform.php

Using Dreamweaver CS5 and Super Suite latest version. Win7 64bit

Thanks Kindly
Michael
