if you look in the archaived documentation section of the CSS Sculptor support page, there are instructions for how to it manually after the design is created.

checking the box in the wizard automatically generates the image that will be used by generating a screen shoot of the current design and saving a slice as the background image, if you make changes to the design after checking the box, the background image will no longer be accurate.
