Pages not displaying in CMS

hi, i have setup a new site and made sure to tick the box include content management in this site, i have setup my menu navigation bar and in this bar i have created some pages that i dont want to appear in the menu bar, for these pages i made sure to tick the box that is do not include in the navigation and i also have ticked the box include in content management as i would like to be able to add content to the page.

My issue is that the pages that i have ticked to not be included in the navigation bar are also not appearng in my cms when i log into mysites admin section.

have i done something wrong here.
