Recordset look up

Hi,

Im trying to work out how to link up information in my dataset for certain product options on my eCart site. Iv tried working it out using the advanced options on the recordset menu but i cant seem to get it to work

I have options in my optiontable and i wish to link their IDs in with their corresponding numbers in my product table

so for example a record in my product table might have

-product-
Name: Red shirt
Price: 10
OptionID: 1
etc.

The optionID relates to which type of fabric they wish to use, which will then have different colours

-Optiongroup-
ID: 1
Fabric: Cotton

ID: 2
Fabric: Silk

-options-
ID: 1
FabricID: 1
Colour: Red

ID: 1
FabricID: 1
Colour: Blue
etc.

Basically i am trying to make it so that if i enter in a value of 1-4 in my data insert form. when it comes to the product result page where people can buy products from they will have the options of whatever fabric colour is available based on the ID
