Ok, that's Ray
Please allow me to extend my question. Right now I have the User Reg. setup and functioning with the provided globals.php page for admin login.
However, the admin can not access any of the user's pages because he is does not pass the access page rule which is "Logged in as user". I tried to create a Group rule using Security Assist but that requires a userLevel column in the database. Easy enough to add, but that means I need to also move the admin login to the user database...correct?
Are their any docs on making this conversion? Changing admin login to database compare, then adding userLevel to the registration form. I think I can manage all of this but I guess I need to know if this would be the correct route?
Seems to me I could give all users a level of 1, then the admin a 3. Leaving room for a jr. admin if needed as a 2.
Will this be equally secure for the admin?
Will the rest of the globals be usable? (email settings, etc.)
And would it also allow for a second admin as the original poster asked? (Group level access, right?)
Security assist comes with a solution recipe that I failed to notice before. But now that I have looked at it, would I be able to tweak the User Reg. Pack to match that type of log in?
I know that much of this could have been posted in the SA forum. But I didn't want to double post.
Thanks,
