Clarification on Theme-It, Upload to Server & Footer

Dear Sirs:

Background: Working on Dell with/CS3/DW 9.0, Windows XP Pro system. Built www.thiemecreativemedia.com with WebAssist/Site Assist. Purchased Site Sculptor {SS} last fall. Finding it frustrating and not user-friendly. Would like to master SS for many reasons.

2.10.11 Update

Your reply to my December 2010 posting was oblique, BUT you provided extremely valuable tip on "Firebug" for "Firefox" browser. {You only made brief mention of Firebug; didn't know at that time, it was a FF Extension.} Have downloaded Firebug 1.6.2. into FF. Wow ... thanks for that tip.

While I judge that WebAssist/SS would be a stronger DW Extension if you could easily find detailed sizes for Template portions, you're right: Firebug is an awesome tool for overcoming WA/SS's deficiency for detailed "div, etc." sizing.

Now, as I've shared with Neil in Sales, I'm going to give WA/SS one more intense effort to master your SS Wizard, but if I cannot slay the dragon, then it's time to move to the competition.

So, questions of the moment:

Q. Is your YouTube tutorial on "Theme-It" completely relevant to the Theme-It component in WA/SS or is the Theme-It in SS a "stripped down version?"

Q. The WA/SS instructors online in SS videos keep making reference to "Upload to Server" and then later in the tutorial, "Go Live!" I would never put a client's website out on the Internet via a Web Hosting Company's Server until I had fully previewed my work in Dreamweaver's Previewing mode for both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Therefore, is your Wizard's "Upload to Server" step really a mis-statement?

Q. For one client, leaning heavily to your SS "Simple" Template. Is your wording of "Resource List" another way of stating "Site Footer" details? Or how do I make the Site Footer horizontal script -- with or without hyperlinks -- part of the Simple Template?

Q. Related question: Your Wizard shows "Sitemap." I liked the Sitemaps I got out of Site Assist. Will WA/SS's Sitemap give me the same hierarchal structure to all of the navigational buttons and any pages falling under a specific nav button?
