the first thing that I would suggest is to create a new site in Dreamweaver for playing around with.
Create a new cart object, it doesn't need to have any additional columns in it.
create a new page with an add to cart button, this is only for testing, so a static button is fine, and create a cart display page.
Then run the checkout wizard for paypal payments pro.
The only objective here is to create the pages using the wizard to use for cannibalization.
On the checkout page, you will see new form elements for the credit card type, number, expiration month, year and cvv value.
you will need to copy these form elements into your checkout form.
I can see on your confirm page, you already have the hidden form elements in place to capture the values posted from the checkout page, this is good.
go into the code on the confirm page and make sure that there is set session value code in place to capture the credit card form elements as well.
If it is not there already, go to the dummy confirm page and copy the set session value code for the credit card form elements and paste it into the head of the confirm page along with the other set session value code.
Once this is in place, you will need to add the Local Checkout server behavior to the confirm page.
Go to the server behaviors window and click on the plus button. Select eCart -> Checkout -> Local Checkout Slect PayPal Direct payment from the gateway selections.
Set the success and failure pages.
On the next step, set the paypal API Credentials, from credit cart type on down, bind each setting to the corresponding form elements through the lightning bolt icon.
On the third step, you should not need to change anything except order description.
If you are unsure on any of the settings, refer to the Local Checkout server behavior on the dummy confirm page that was created.
