re-purpose the html editor

I built a host of apps for clients, like a newsletter system, event calendar, forum system, social site apps, etc.
I have finally decided to merge them all into the powercms setup.
Several of these additions also run off of the fckeditor wysiwyg. Since I developed them all seperately, they all have their own copy of fck attached to them.
Is there anything in the cms's fck config files that would prevent me from just having 1 core fck to run all the others off of?
It may get a little sticky with file uploads...haven't really thought that part all the way through....maybe I will need custon config.php's for each app
But as a whole...would this be do-able or should I stick with different fck file sets alltogether?
