custom plugin question

I built a custom plugin for a client for adding some cms to this monster form they have.
I am running off the old cms 102, and I just added a link to the form portion in the cms102 template.
Now if I want to apply all the same session protection for the new part, am i correct that I can just add
<?php require_once( "../WA_Globals/WA_Globals.php" ); ?>
<?php require_once('../Connections/localhost.php'); ?>
<?php require_once( "../WA_SecurityAssist/Helper_PHP.php" ); ?>
to the top of the new page(s) to keep everything nice and tidy and working hand in hand(security speaking)?
I have them using the same login info as the globals.php, and the localhost info is the same.
I ommited the wa_cms.php include as the data is held in a different table on the same database
