Cannot browse local drive for images

Cannot browse local drive for images

I installed Power CMS for a client and gave a lesson/demonstration using his laptop which runs Windows 7. I ran into a problem that appears to be specific to his laptop's configuration, and I'm wondering if anyone can help.

The problem arises when I try to upload an image. I click on the insert/edit image icon, then on the upload tab, then on the browse. When I navigate to a folder that contains image files (such as jpg or jpeg), the screen folder appears to be empty and there is a message "No files match your criteria" (it is set for all files).

But there are image files in the folders, and they are easily findable and rendered by Windows Explorer outside of the Power CMS interface.

Has anyone heard of this sort of thing, or does anyone have an idea what might be interfering?

More info on the laptop: it is configured by his company (his day job) and normally uses a server for its internet connection. At work it is governed by Citrix (?) security. I'm thinking that there might be some security software that is prohibiting the browse from seeing the images.

Is this feasible?

Any help would be appreciated.

By the way, I can upload PDFs from his laptop without a problem.

Thanks....Duane
