Image Resizer + HTML Editor??

Sorry if I missed this information.

Will Image Resizer work on a page that is updated and formatted by an HTML Editor backend?

I have a client who edits and updates a couple pages on their site with a CMS built with DA and HTML E. They upload full size images and don't seem to want to resize them beforehand.
I know I can setup the Advanced Editor but I was hoping for a more automatic solution for them.

Since the images they use are uploaded at full size (some as large as 4,000 px wide) I wanted to size them all down to around 800 pixels wide automatically so that the page loads faster. And still not interrupt the clients formatting.

I thought maybe this would be a great use for Image Resizer. Could I include it on the public viewable page and set the images to resize to a specific size rather than how each image is set by the HTML? Or will only size them to their specified HTML sizes?

Thanks,
TroyD
