PS3 Product Update is *Really* Broken Bad

Okay...surely something is wrong on my part...

I create a product and add 4-6 Options for that product. I then go down each option and update the product name, and also the descriptions. I check the box on each product/option to NOT manage inventory.

Everytime I go back to the product and/or option, all the data is *jacked* up.

1.) the Product Name either removes everything after the quotation marks or puts a \ after the number 20
2.) Even though the box to manage inventory is checked, there is a zero in the Inventory field which causes the product to show out of stock
3.) The description field also shows multiple \\\\\\ after the number 20 and before the quotation mark 20\\\\\\"

(Note: I originally entered the text 20")

Something is TERRIBLY WRONG...What is it?

How do I apply the 3.0.1 update without restarting from square one on my store? Does the 3.0.1 fix all this?

PLEASE HELP ME!

Terry
