Can a form selection feed into my cart?

We have a site project that we need to build a purchase a gift card order link that will allow the user to fill out an entire form and then enter the amount that they want their gift card to be and then submit to a shopping cart. This site has 3other areas that will utilize the cart .

The other parts of the site that will use the cart are:
Merchandise
Cupcakes
Catering

All of which will Need to feed into one cart to create a one check out experience for the end user.

Please advise on how if this is possible and what is the best way to accomplish this task.

Thank you!

Erick
