PS3 - shipping weight options

PS3 - shipping weight options

Well, I finally got PS3 installed and am now trying to add products. Unfortunately, PS3 doesn't allow me to set any shipping weight smaller than 1 pound, but my client sells books, pamphlets and DVDs, many of which are mere ounces.

The don't want to add charge a customer for one pound per item just to add a pamphlet that weighs 2 ounces.

Is there any way to get the program to accept the ACTUAL weight of an item? I haven't tried yet, but I am assuming that if something weighs 1 pound 8 ounces, the program is going to make me input that as 2 pounds.

Worth noting--I have not set up a shipper yet. I am meeting with my client to introduce them to the PowerStore3 cart (and an entire website redesign) this afternoon and I haven't walked them through getting their USPS API key.

My question still stands, though. What options do I have for inputting a product's actual weight?

And tangentally, does this same problem exist in PS4?
