Can't connect to mySQL database

I successfully uploaded the PowerStore files to my server and began the Installation wizard at cart/

The first step has tripped me up. I have input the host server/database name/username/password, but it highlights the host/username/password in red and tells me to verify them. I am clearly using the wrong something, but what?

Here are the steps and actions I took, along the usernames and passwords.

The domain is "raindroptraining.com" and when asked for the host/server, that is usually what I input. However, as a webdesigner, I have a hosting package that allows me to create multiple websites. The actual host server is server20.mtl.net.equalserver.com

The ip is: 199.204.44.130
I don't think this applies to my problem, but my access to MY HOSTING account WHM administration is <deleted> and the root access pass is <deleted>

HOWEVER!

FOR THIS PARTICULAR WEBSITE where I am trying to install PowerStore
I achieve access to mySQL through raindroptraining.com/cpanel
username:<deleted>
pass: <deleted>

This morning in the <deleted> Admin I created a new database called "cart"

mySQL Admin shows that database's full name to be:

<deleted>

I assigned an existing user to have access to that cart
The user for that mySQL database is "rainev" and the full name is shown as:

<deleted>

The password is: <deleted>

When running the PowerStore Installation Wizard, here are the settings I provided:

Server/Host Provider: raindroptraining.com

Database name: raindrop_cart
(i also tried it just "cart" without the raindrop_ - unsuccessful, obviously)

Username: <deleted>
(I tried this with and without the raindrop_ -- and I also tried it with just the raindrop)

Password: <deleted>

Have I provided you with enough information to identify what I'm doing wrong? Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Connie
