eCart not working correctly

We purchased eCart as part of the Design suite bundle over 3 weeks ago, and we still can't get it to work correcty. We've gone through the tutorials and are following exactly but get inconsistent results. First, we were able to get this to function correctly on a windows PC running CS3 Dreamweaver. But our main computer is an iMac running CS4 Dreamweaver, and on that platform, when we create a button with a binding dollar value of $99., it updates to the shopping cart the displayed value is $10,099.00 – I've been trying this for two weeks and keep getting several digits added to our shopping cart total. The thing is, not only is the total wrong but it seems to be a different amount that shows all the time. I don't understand why this is happening. There also seems to be no way go in and edit the binding settings once a button is created. Is there a way? this seems to be badly designed software if one cannot even edit one's creation. PLEASE HELP. Here's our created page: test.php
