Regular Expression Validation Fails

Hi,

I am using (Validation Toolkit 2.35, Dreamweaver CS4, ASP Pages on Vista) and have an issue when adding a regular expression validation.

I have successfully added (via the Insert wizard) 3 validations - 2 of them are 'Required' validations and the third is a 'Like' validation. These are working as they should.

I am then trying to add a Regular expression validation and it all fails. It stops the previously working validations from doing what they should. Once the regular expression is added I also notice when going back to the wizard that it cannot see/recognise the exisiting three validations anymore.

I have uninstalled the toolkit and got rid of the Windows DAT file and reinstalled. This has made no difference.

The regular expression I'm testing against is below:

(?=^.{8,20}$)(?=.*\d)(?=.*[a-z])(?=.*[A-Z])(?=.*[!@#$%^&*()_+}{":;\'?/>.<,])(?!.*\s).*$

Designed to force the password complexity.

I am copying into the RegEx box of the validation as is....maybe I shouldn't?!

I have attached the file I'm working on before adding the RegEx and after it fails to work.

If anyone has any ideas or experience of this I'd be really grateful to know what I can do.

Thanks in advance.

Steven
