LogIn Password Problem

LogIn Password Problem

When I go to my user login page, it shows a blank USER ID but the password field is already filled in. I changed "type" to "text" so I could see what was there & it appears to be an encrypted string of some sort. I can log in with "Remember Me" checked & the next time I return to the page, my USER ID is filled in but the same long string is there from before. In other words, not my password.

I've attached a copy of the login page. I've probably done something wrong along the way but cannot figure out what.
