How does this speed up development?

I love the idea of the Framework and have already started using it in a very basic way to try and get to grips with it.

I am still not clear on how the framework would speed up development for me though....

In Russell's excellent introduction document, the final part shows how a dynamic plugin would work. I understand the concept but also understand that two dynamic plugins on one page actually requires three php pages to be created. If I did this the 'old' way, I would only have needed to create 2 php pages as each of the two plugin pages would have been pages in their own right with the relevant styling.

I am not sure that I explained my question well, but hopefully someone will see what I am asking
