Continue Shopping Button Not Sending You Back

I have set up my shopping cart to direct shoppers to click a "details" button to learn more about the item being purchased (see page hrstore_laborlaw.php ).

The details button redirects the shopper to my details.php page which is setup to reveal dynamic data from my sql database. When the shopper clicks the "add to cart" button, I have set up the page to reveal a show region explaining that the item has been added to the cart.

HERE IS THE ISSUE.....If the shopper wishes to go back and continue shopping, they click the "continuing shopping" button and it redirects the shopper back to the previous page (prior to clicking the add to cart button). This obviously creates an issue for the shopper which will have use other means of getting back to the previous store page. *** See my web page link above to test issue.

I need help in setting up or configuring the continue shopping button to go back to the store and ignore any other action the shopper may have taken when adding the item to the cart.
