Local testing and developer note paths

Jason

The suggested workflow for Power CMS is to upload live with no local testing?

I have set up one Powerstore site and if my memory is correct you could test locally and upload later - a quick check around the forum suggest so also. With Powerstore 3 and I believe cms 1 you could develop locally and then up to your production server. The developer notes did not have absolute paths that are produced by cms 2.

Is there any other way forward to all me to test locally or is the find/replace route the only one with this solution? Could you give me a pointer to where to hack the solution to give me this functionality? Can the includes be changed easily to work as per Powerstore3 and cms1?

Could Webassist explain the reasoning for this approach of restricting local testing of this solution - sure there must be a good logic here but I can't understand it. Maybe missing it.

Also again is the optimization function available or not?

Thanks for the support
Ian
