Hi

at the last stages of a project which has been to say the least a bit of a learning curve.

What I have is a list of models in a database and a list of Photographers in the same database.

The photographers search via various criteria and are shown images from the models portfolio.

With only one problem left on that side ( awating a response from techies) I can now progress onto the next stage,

Simply there are two groups who need to pay an annual charge for use of the site. so only two products to sell

My untutored PHp/mysql thought was to allow access to the site by use of a logical field ie yes for subscribed and no for not.

Thought (dangerous I know) that I could arrange a payment using powerstore/ecart ( only have ecart4) so that when the payment is confirmed the database would be updated to reflect the payment. I was thinking of controling the subscription time by using a count option ie <365.

Ok thats my logic, is there an easier way or can I not do this is the way I think?

Not sure whether to struggle on or pay someone to do this last bit.

Any advise very welcome

thanks

Ian
