total anniliation of the configuration folder worked

I deleted the cache file several times before contacting you. I didn't know about the configuration folder renaming. I also did as instructed and tossed out all webassist products from extensions and reloaded. I am glad I put all those numbers in a database program, I hope I can get as good at using your products as I am at installing them.

Does this happen alot with these programs? I had hours of grief with Site Assist a few weeks back and thank goodness someone could tell me how to delete a line of code to get it all working. I am new to webassist and the few extensions I had been using prior to this have never caused me this amount of grief. Of course they don't do wonderful complicated stuff like yours do either.

Since I am new is there something I might be doing very wrong that is causing me to go grey before my time? Should I also delete and reload other extensions that were in extensions manager?

thanks again,

Laura-Leigh Palmer

Have you tried deleting the cache file from the configuration folder? It seems like you might be experiencing a problem related to this, here is a link with the instructions for deleting this file.

If the issue persists then there might be a corruption of the configuration folder, if this is the case then you will need to rename or delete it to have it be recreated properly. Here is a link to the steps you can take for this:
