Can not log into CMS with password

Can not log into CMS with password

I uploaded site sculpture files on to server, have database set up, was asked to set password and username. I then tried to log into CMS using the password & username and it does not work. I do not get an error message. It comes back to the login page. Should I delete the database and start over or is it a different problem?

The website appears fine. I just can not access the cms to make changes.

Would appreciate any help. Thanks.
