Hi

Ok some really silly questions

when you re uploaded the files and database and then logged onto index.php did the automated install sequence start?

If not then something was still left.

Ok what I'd do is firstly delete everything in the uploaded root make sure that the connections folder is not there.

Then I log on to my database via phpmyadmin (or the tool of your choice) and then (assuming you can't delete the database) delete all tables and views.

The upload a fresh virgin copy of your donwloaded PS3 files to the web server.

Run index.php and it should go into the install sequence.

This long term will probably be the quickest route to go,

The lesson is ( one which we've all learnt) is 500 backups is one to few!!

Backup the database and your site before any change;-:

A five minute backup is much better than a days work re writing.
