Apostrophe in category name messing me up

Apostrophe in category name messing me up

To help save my client some money, I've had her entering products in the database. She has made a category named

Jus Groovin' Retro

In addition, within that category there is a subcategory name in which she accidentally put an apostrophe.

So now I'm trying to help clean things up because the Admin is really bogging down (timing out and giving 500 page not found errors [tho a refresh of the page will eventually pull it up]).

Within Admin, if you are on a page that has the accordion menu on the left side and you click on the Jus Groovin' Retro category, nothing happens. Within category maintenance, if you click on "Edit Category Name", nothing happens. I have even tried to delete the whole category - again, the button won't work. (Same goes for the subcategory that has the accidental apostrophe at the end.) I am able to edit/delete other categories / subcategories, tho.

I'm pretty sure the apostrophe is what's freaking everything out, but I can't get in there to edit it out. I know NOTHING about MySQL, so even if editing the database was acceptable in this situation, I wouldn't know how to do it.

Can you give me some tips or a solution to getting those dang apostrophes out of there? :)

Thanks!

~J
