HTML Editor - custom css

Hi,

I am trying to insert some of the css styles from my site to the CMS system. I have read seceral posts on this - followed the advice to copy my css file to the 'custom' folder, and update the .js and xml files - but all I get on offer is 'red title'. Not very helpful. Can anyone give me a foolproof 'how to'?

Again, I just want my css styles to appear in the drop down in the html editor.
