eCart 4.52 checkout wizard and Payments Pro settings

I've been having trouble getting eCart to work properly. I've deleted all eCart folders and related pages and am starting over. In the wizard, Step 1 of 2 asks for Merchant Account User Name, Merchant Account Password and Merchant Account Signature. I believe I got this correct -- the info was in PayPal Option 1 setup paypal API credentials and permissions.

As I continue to Step 2 of 2 -- the wizard asks for PayPal Express account info. Is this information the same as the merchant account info? It asks for user name, password and signature/vendor. If it's different, I know what my paypal user name and password are, but what is a PayPal signature/vendor?

So, should the info entered be the SAME for both steps?

Help. Thanks in advance.
