Using my own includes in PowerCMS

Not quite. I have a site already running that has no database. The content in this site pulls all of it content from a folder "includes". In that folder are a bunch of php or html files (home.php, about.php, events.php and so on...) as well as files with date names that fills in content coming up on a schedule. Some of these files are called on by more than one page so the events.php include file is used on more that one page. Could PowerCMS populate the incle files instead of the primary pages calling on the include files to get its content. For instance I used powercms code for a content fill in a "local" site I am in the process of creating:
<?php
include('R:/wamp/www/fabc_joy_2010_PowerCMS/powercms/WA_CMS/addtosite.php');
echo WA_getCMSContent($database_PowerCMSConnection, $PowerCMSConnection, 'welcome', 'top', false);
?>
Could this code some how be changed to point to the includes folder I stated above in the site root to get the content?
I hope I explained a little better.
