Can I have too many options?

In the instructions about options, it warns that too many Advanced options can slow things down. How many is "too many"

I LOVE the way the options work, but I see how they can add up VERY fast. So before I go too crazy, do you have any experience at what point things might get sluggish - like at 1000, 10,000, 100,000 or more?.

I am setting up Power Store for a print shop, and just for "postcards", I am estimating that 12960 entries will be generated based on the option I want to do. If I also have that many for "business cards" and "brochures", etc, I will have well over 100,000 in no time. Will things get a little sluggish or a lot sluggish?

Your advice will help determine how I proceed.

Thanks!
