Updating dynamic data with HTML Editor

I'm having trouble with using HTML Editor v.2.0.0 to pull up a record with an initial value. I can add records with an insert just fine with an INSERT page using full blown HTML Editor v.2.0.0 features, but editing the same file with an UPDATE page, the Editor text box refuses to pull up the record.

Specific Call to edit a specific record example...
eventsupdate.php?rec_id=1027

Works fine if the form field is just a standard TEXTAREA, but once I apply the HTML Editor extension to the same file, I lose the initial value display.

php:
<?php require_once("../HTMLEditor/WARichEditorPHP.php"); ?>

<?php
// WebAssist iRite: Rich Text Editor for Dreamweaver
$WARichTextEditor_1 CreateRichTextEditor ("comment""/HTMLEditor/""100%""300px""Default""../custom/NEWeventsupdate_comment4.js""{WADAcomments.comment}");
?>
