Dani:

Well, I tried just that, and this also relates to another question that I posted relating to changing the title tags on the pages.

I FTP'd the files to my local drive, put them in a clean folder and then opened in DreamWeaver. The files that now appear on my local drive, in a clean folder, are the generic files that were uploaded when we did the initial FTP to the domain. None of the content that we have added appears on these pages, it's all the original files, verbage, et cetera.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but this just does not make sense that if I download a file, index.php, for example, then open it in DreamWeaver on my local drive, that the original page content appears instead of what should be appearing on the site??

Obviously something just is not right here. What next??
