Credit card payment fail

I'm using eCart 4.5.2. My checkout page was configured to accept both Palpal and Credit card payment. When I tested using Paypal sendbox environment, Paypal payment worked fine. However the credit card payment didn't get through. I echoed the response text from method PP_DirectPayment_Post in PP_DirectPayment_PHP.php file, and found the following error message:"AKwFM7UU77wN7GHhHZRp2sCvUJ32At5ltNWd0TSmtnq2Fo5rJkhgw1Ei2010-03-22T05:55:33ZFailuree074c22ce69cMerchant country unsupported. The merchant country is not supported.10565Error2.2012243190.10". It always appeared regardless which country I chose from the dropdown list. The country list was the default generated from the checkout wizard. Any idea how to get around this?

Thanks in advance.
