I am guessing you are looking to create tables where you can quickly sort by any column?

If that is the case, there are several much cheaper alternatives that leverage AJAX.

First, I would look at the JQuery tools and options - since this will be no cost to you.

One of the better AJAX tools I have used is Linecraft's Spry Data Utilities for Dreamweaver: index.php

The one thing with Spry, though, is after you complete the work, you definitely want to use Dreamweaver CS4's tool to "extract Javascript" and create pure javascript for your spry widgets so it will pass the W3 standards test.

I also know that Yahoo User Interface (YUI) has a great AJAX table system that looks great, too. They also have a bundled Dreamweaver extension with several YUI tools (and it's free!): using_yui_widgets.html

Best regards,

Brian
