great...

I do have a question on this...

sorry I am a newbie...

once i install the xamp, it looks like this installs Apache? Maybe I am misunderstanding but, won't that conflict with Apache already installed? Should I remove my current installation first, then install Xamp?

Since my website is already live I am worried about bringing it down then installing...I guess I would just take my Apache conf file and move it over and move my htdocs files over and it should be back up?

Then, once I go back into Dreamweaver, I should reset up my site for the testing server for PHP?

Then I can setup Universal Email with My SMTP which I have installed on the same server and it does send emails because I already have accounts and customers using this email server.

Am I following or am I way off? sorry I just don't want to loose what I already have up
and running...

Thanks for being patient...
