Universal Email doesn't appear in eCart's Checkout Wizard

Universal Email doesn't appear in eCart's Checkout Wizard

I am a SuperSuite owner, and I have the current versions of both eCart and Universal Email installed and authorized in DW. The getting started guide says that if you have UE installed alongside eCart, you should be presented with options during the Checkout Wizard to specify how you want email to be sent from your site.

But when I go through the Checkout Wizard, I don't get any UE options at all -- it's as if eCart doesn't acknowledge that UE is installed. Is there somewhere I have to specify that I want to use UE? Is there PHP code that needs to be present on the checkout page that causes eCart to look for UE?

Thanks,
M2
