Launches through Q2
As you know, Universal Email is in QA/beta currently. We look forward to launching it in a couple of weeks and thank everyone who is participating in the beta to make it that much better!
We would guesstimate that Adobe will launch CS5 next quarter, being that they typically stick to about an 18-month schedule. If that is the case, we will need to test all extensions and release CS5 compatible dot releases. So some juggling of our projects is up in the air and the product launch schedule *may* change, but I'd like to let you know what is currently on the horizon.
We are moving into engineering shortly on PowerCMS 2. PowerCMS 2 will have an installer, similar to PowerStore 3 and PowerGallery, and many usability enhancements. It will have improved user management and we are setting it up to integrate with the next version of SiteAssist Pro. In time, Ray will post more details on the PowerCMS 2 feature set. We will likely offer a beta similar to how we set up the PowerStore beta - if you own PowerCMS 1, you can participate.
We are also in development on CSS Form Builder 2. This next version will allow for form FUNCTION, the most requested capability requested after v1 was launched. Some of the other enhancements include integration with Universal Email, Digital File Pro and HTML Editor. Again, I will let Ray post more details on the feature set as the development progresses. We will likely offer a beta to the WCE once we progress to QA.
Both of these products will hopefully be launched in Q2 (April - June). Every bit of participation you can offer in the beta programs is greatly appreciated. The extra use cases help us catch issues before the product is launched and the general feedback is helpful too. A lot of feature requests have been asked for in some of the betas and while we can't always get them into the product immediately, they get logged in our bug base and are always considered for future versions - so consider your feedback very valuable.
