Yes, I have just managed it after four days and endless attempts of installs. It is so simple to achieve, but nowhere on the WebAssist website does it mention the ability to do so.

So, install it on your local testing server; look in the wa_settings table of the database and there you will see something like:

Root URL: sitename/

Local Root: /username/sitename/

Remote Root: /username/sitename/

On the basis the site is sitting at the top level of the live domain, you need to change the above to:

Root URL: www.sitename.com/

Local Root: /

Remote Root: /

You might also need to change the Google API Key

I have uploaded my local files to my remote server via DW, and literally within the last hour dumped my local testing server and uploaded it to the remote server, then changed the above settings... BINGO!

If it wasn't for Dani on here, I wouldn't have known to do that. I just had to ask the right question in order for that info to materialise which is a shame.

So, there you go WebAssist team... I appreciate that this was built with the novice in mind, but there are a good deal of people on here who want to be able test first, and then upload. But without the above info, it becomes almost impossible to figure out and do that. It would be great to have this as part of the documentation instructions as I would've understood that straight away rather than go round in circles for days on end.
