menu.css does not always update when changes are made to the menu

Dreamweaver CS4 - Adobe, Web Premium Suite.
Menu Writer updated to the latest version.

I have a custom menu I created and saved as a theme.
I create the menu on an html page and save the page.

Bug: I reopen the menu in Menu Writer and make some changes to the theme width, height, margin, padding, etc.. of the menu items in the main menu (top level).

I then click "apply" then "finish". "saving as a preset" is checked or not, makes no difference.

Result: Dreamweaver css styles do not update with the changes and the page remains unchanged in design view. If I go back into Menu Writer and check the settings I just changed they are correct and show the changes I made. The changes are just not reflected in either css styles or the design view of the page in Dreamweaver. If I close and reopen the page the changes are not there.

Any ideas as to what i'm doing wrong?
