powerstore 2 with paypal standard

hello
i own powerstore 2 and e-cart 5. I was wondering:
1. if i use e-cart to modify powerstore to accept payments through paypal standard, do i have to change something at the globals file?
2. Will the total ammount of the cart including the flat shipping rates i crafted, be charged by paypal to te user making the purchase? I mean, i want the user to be charged the total price WITH the flat rate shipping costs. This will happen, right?
3. What does the "inventory control" means? (I'm not english :)
I saw in a post that this PS feature will be disabled if i choose ppal standard...
Could you clarify this please?

thanks again
